I have a 90# Doberman Pinscher who loves to run. I also needed some exercise so I looked into how to bike with him safely attached to the bike. I came across this invention four years ago and it is the best thing that has ever happened to us. My dog loves it!!! He took to the setup instantly, and runs along side me perfectly. We have gone riding in the wee hours of the morning and seen raccoons and squirrels that of course we had to try and chase, I have never fallen off my bike. I cannot say enough good things about this product, its built to last (mine is still going strong) and the design is brilliant. Thank you Biker Dog!

My Dog Loves IT! |

My australian shepherd loves the bikerdog, we have run with the bike every day since he was 6 months old, he just turned 4 today. I like the design of the bikerdog better than the other styles, since it is connected DOWN at the hub rather than on the seat, the center of gravity is lower, giving me complete control ( especially helpful if he sees a rabbit off the trail ) He pulls the bike at about 16 mph, ( he apparently thinks he's a sled dog ) not much exercise for me unless we are going up hill! Ha! If the bike DARES to have a flat tire, I take him for a walk instead, then he barks to go on the bike right after his walk! Just ordered a replacement bracket today. Love the bikerdog, it's the best!

why i like my bikerdog:
-less than 5 minutes to install
-very durable & reasonable price
-versatile; can be used on both sides of bike & so easy to install don't mind switching it back and forth to different bikes.
-keeps my strong but short bull terrier attached at a height that is much better than if it were on my seat post
-feel like in control and we are both comfortable
-allows the dog to get behind me so can fit through narrower areas
-can remove the rod and not have a huge attachment left stuck to my bike
-came with the harness included
-my dog gets great excercise and has less energy to use on the new obsessive behaviors he recently started to pick up
-has a better appetite and not so picky with food choice
-my dog loves the new places we are able to go and attention he gets with me outside playing

size small bike dog harness? |

I have not had the opportunity to purchase this item as you don;t carry this in a size small. i have a 10 lb Jack Russell Terrier who is well suited for this type of exercise....Why don;t you make this item for a smaller dog? My Wiley can be your beta dog!!! He has got alot of energy. Awaiting your reponse.

I have had my biker dog for about a year or so. My have a retriever and she LOVES it. When I first harness her, she is so reved to go, we can ride without pedaling! I have never ever had a problem where I felt unstable with her pulling, and she took right to it. My Sis is now ordering one as well and I just did a test run with her dog and he picked up very quickly.
